The Customer Contact Center (CCC) undergoes a professional assessment by PIDAS, the IT services company. The survey that has been conducted shows that the Customer Contact Center meets the high requirements expected and is also managed efficiently. These achievements have earned it the «Best Practice in Customer Care» certificate from PIDAS.
Music journalist Susanne Kübler is awarded the 2nd Greulich Culture Prize on 16 February. Kübler has been responsible for the classical music field at the Tages-Anzeiger since 1998. Born in Switzerland in 1969, she studied musicology in Zurich and Bologna. The prize is worth 10,000 Swiss francs and is awarded at intervals of one to three years by the cultural foundation to honor exceptional services in culture journalism.
Media prize for Tages-Anzeiger journalists: the Tages-Anzeiger business team, comprising Erich Solenthaler, Bruno Schletti and the three freelancers Katinka Gyomlay, Karin Huber and Daniel Zulauf is awarded the prize of honor worth 1,000 Swiss francs for the Pension Funds Dossier which was published during January in the Tages-Anzeiger. They were praised for their clear, varied and expert presentation of this complex subject. The prize is awarded by Private, the magazine for investors.
Backslash scores a success in November at the eighth Eugen Electronic Government prize by Bedag Informatik: Two of the four award-winning Web sites are based on the cms3 E-Government solution from Backslash, Huber & Co.'s Internet, Multimedia and Crossmedia agency based in Frauenfeld.
Schweizer Journalist, the magazine for the journalism sector, chooses in December the
Tages-Anzeiger as Editorial Team of the Year for 2007. The selection is made by an independent jury of leading media sector representatives from the German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland and the Ticino. Several members of the Tages-Anzeiger editorial team received special awards: reporter Constantin Seibt (Journalist of the Year and winner in the Politics and Business categories), Jean-Martin Büttner (winner in the Culture category), Editor-in-Chief Peter Hartmeier, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Daniela Decurtins and Daniel Suter in the Local Journalism category, together with Annette Müller among the Newcomers.
