The commuter newspaper for the French-speaking areas of Switzerland
20 minutes, the commuter newspaper in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, was launched in 2006 and is published in two editions for Geneva and Lausanne. Every day, the Lausanne-based editorial team informs their readers on key events in politics, business, sports and entertainment. The paper is distributed from boxes at public transport stops and other well-frequented locations.
This commuter paper is part of the 20 Minuten media network which also includes the commuter paper 20 Minuten in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, 20 Minuten Online with 20minuten.ch and 20minutes.ch as well as the people magazine 20 Minuten Friday. Around 1.9 million people in the German- and French-speaking areas of Switzerland turn to 20 Minuten media for information every day.
