Switzerland's most widely-read daily newspaper
Launched in 1999, 20 Minuten is a commuters' newspaper with stories covering news, sports, entertainment and services to provide plenty of topics for conversation every day. The five regional editions for Basel, Berne, Lucerne, Zug and St. Gallen are distributed from boxes at public transport stops and other well-frequented locations.
The commuter paper is part of the 20 Minuten media alliance which also includes the French-language commuter paper 20 minutes, 20 Minuten Online with 20minuten.ch and 20minutes.ch as well as the people magazine 20 Minuten Friday. Around 1.9 million people in the German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland turn to 20 Minuten media for information every day.
