Tamedia operates within the following divisions:

Regional Media German-speaking Switzerland

The Regional Media German-speaking Switzerland Division includes the daily newspapers BZ Berner Zeitung, das Bülacher Tagblatt, Der Bund, BZ Langenthaler Tagblatt, Tages-Anzeiger, Zürcher Unterländer, Zürichsee Zeitung, the news network newsnet, the town magazine Züritipp as well as the shareholdings in the daily newspapers BO Berner Oberländer and TT Thuner Tagblatt. The Regional Media German-speaking Switzerland Division includes also the weekly and free gazettes Bantiger Post, Bernerbär, Furttaler, Glatttaler, Rümlanger, Sihltaler, Tagblatt der Stadt Zürich, Thalwiler and Volketswiler. Also part of the Regional Media German-Speaking Switzerland Division are the job market activities Alpha and Stellen-Anzeiger.

Publications romandes

The Publications romandes Division includes the newspapers 24 heures, Tribune de Genève and Le Matin and as their online news platforms 24heures.ch, tdg.ch and lematin.ch, the sunday newspaper Le Matin Dimanche, as well as the regional weekly newspapers Le Journal de Morges, La Broye, and Le Régional. Furthermore, the Publications romandes Division includes the free supplements Télé Top Matin and GuideTVCinéma and the women’s magazine Femina. The participations in the supra-regional daily newspaper Le Temps as well as the participations in the weekly publications Lausanne Cités and GHI are managed within the Publications romandes Division too.

Media German-speaking Switzerland

The Media German-speaking Switzerland Division includes SonntagsZeitung,  Das Magazin, Annabelle, the business newspaper Finanz und Wirtschaft, Schweizer Familie and TV täglich. 

Digital

Tamedia Digital comprises all commercial online activities of the company such as the directory and service portal search.ch, the job platforms of jobs.ch Holding AG, the vehicle marketplace car4you.ch, the real estate portal homegate.ch, the small classifieds platform piazza.ch, the fashion portal fashionfriends.ch as well as the company's interests in sites such as jobsuchmaschine.ch, olmero.ch, renovero.ch and zattoo.ch.

20 Minuten

20 Minuten encompasses all the activities of Switzerland’s biggest media network: the commuter newspapers 20 Minuten, 20 minutes and 20 minuti, the online news portals 20 Minuten and 20 minutes Online, the Swiss nightlife platform tilllate.com, the participation in the tio.ch portal (in Italian), and lifestyle magazine 20 Minuten Friday. 20 Minuten is also responsible for the shareholdings in the commuter newspapers L’Essentiel in Luxembourg as well as 24timer and MetroXpress in Denmark.

Publishing Services

The Publishing Services Division includes the newspaper printing facilities of Tamedia in Berne, Lausanne and Zurich, the Prepress and Application Support, the Call Centers as well as the publishing logistics.

Fincances

The Finances Division includes the financial accounting department, central controlling, corporate finances, information technology, the Legal Service Department, Facility Management, the Infrastructure & Security Department, as well as the staff restaurants.
